Mireille Cyr is a full professor in the Department of Psychology at the Université de Montréal. She is the co-holder of the Marie-Vincent Interuniversity Chair on sexual abuse against children and a member of the Sexual Violence and Health Team (ÉVISSA). She is one of the founding members of CRIPCAS and served as the scientific director from 2011 to 2022. She sits on the Board of Directors as a representative of researchers and has been responsible for institutional visibility since 2022. Her research projects focus on of sexual abuse against children and interviewing these minors. She has published numerous articles on the consequences of sexual abuse, the impact of disclosure on non-offending parents, and their capacity to provide support. Her expertise in child testimony is reflected in the publication of the third edition of her book Recueillir la parole de l'enfant témoin ou victime: De la théorie à la pratique published by Dunod in 2023.
