Marie-Ève Daspe is an associate professor at Université de Montréal and director of the Laboratoire de recherche sur les interactions et la vie conjugale (LIVE). She has been a regular researcher at CRIPCAS since taking up her position in 2018, and has been a member of the Board of Directors since 2024. Her research expertise focuses on the psychophysiological correlates of violence in romantic relationships. Her work attempts to identify modifiable risk factors that can be targeted in violence intervention programs. Her research also focuses on the impact of digital technologies (e.g. smartphones, social networks) on relationship functioning, with a view to promoting the healthy use of these technological tools within young adult couples.
